Oracle EBS & PeopleSoft Financials Senior Consultant

Work You’ll Do 

As a Diamond-level member of the Oracle Partner Network, Deloitte needs thought leaders like yourself to help pave the way for our clients and Oracle service line development. For our clients, our Oracle Financials Senior Consultants reduce cost and support innovation at the enterprise level by managing business requirements and leading the functional design, prototyping and process design stages of Oracle implementations.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

  • Lead components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies.
  • Leading teams in the identification, managing, and writing of business requirements.
  • Leading functional and process design (including scenario design, flow mapping, leading workshops, and prototyping).
  • Supporting configurations, conversions, integrations, extensions, reporting, testing, and user training.
  • Training and passing certification in Oracle Cloud

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Functional Implementation Experience: 2+ complex, full lifecycle Oracle EBS or PeopleSoft Financials implementations.
  • Extensive Implementation Experience: 6+ years of experience implementing a combination of Oracle or PeopleSoft modules, including General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Cash Management/Treasury, Fixed Asset Management (FA/AM), Project Costing (PC), or Grants Management (GM).
  • Demonstrated Expertise: Proven experience in defining systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, conducting as-is and to-be business process designs and workshops, facilitating conference room pilots (CRPs), performing functional configuration, testing, and providing client user training.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, depending on the nature of the work and the clients and industries/sectors served.
  • Immigration Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Certification: Current Oracle certification or the willingness to obtain one upon employment.
  • Independent Work Capability: Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills using MS Visio and MS PowerPoint.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior staff.
  • Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in the area of specialization.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading an entire work stream of relevant Oracle applications.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,325 to $188,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
