Work you'll do 

As a Diamond-level member of the Oracle Partner Network, Deloitte needs thought leaders like yourself to help pave the way for our clients and Oracle service line development. For our clients, our Oracle ERP Cloud Consultants reduce cost and support innovation at the enterprise level by managing business requirements and leading the functional design prototyping and process design stages of Oracle Cloud implementations. Cloud Financials functional professional will lead the Record to Report workstream and Credit to Receipt for an Oracle ERP implementation and Finance Process transformation. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Oracle ERP Cloud experience in at least one or more of these modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management and Cash Management. 
  • Experience as a resource in the implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud project and Supporting Oracle Cloud 
  • Having strong experience in Support Life Cycle , SLA management and working with Oracle Product and Cloud Infra support group 
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, Leading Sprint sessions, testing, client user training. 
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in multiple end-to-end implementations / support projects of Oracle EBS (R12 & 11i) involving Financials modules across industry domains 
  • Good understanding of Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH). 
  • Understanding of File based data import and export 
  • Work directly with Business User as an Oracle Cloud Financials functional expert. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments 
  • Gather, analyze business requirements, and perform Fit-Gap analysis 
  • Active participation in preparing various project documents – Solution design, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, SIT-UAT Test Scripts, Training materials. 
  • Explain the business requirement to other team members in the project 
  • Write functional requirement documents 
  • Create and execute test scenarios in various test environments 
  • Works closely with users during user acceptance testing phase.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years as a Functional professional in consulting and/or industry experience 
  • 3+ years of experience implementing some combination of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials modules such as: Oracle Cloud General Ledger, Oracle Accounts Payable, Oracle Accounts Receivable and Revenue Management, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Cash Management  
  • Work directly with Business User as an Oracle Cloud Financials functional expert.  
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments 
  • Gather, analyze business requirements, and perform Fit-Gap analysis 
  • Active participation in preparing various project documents – Solution design, Functional Specifications, Setup Documents, SIT-UAT Test Scripts, Training materials 
  • Must have experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements 
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training. 
  • Extensive experience leading client conversations around business processes, leading industry practices, chart of accounts design, recommendation on custom processes, and practices for mapping legacy to future state 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations 
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must be in your designated office location 10%-30% throughout the year 
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven record of 2+ successful ERP Financials implementations (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle R12) and a senior team member, team lead or Project Manager on at least 1 full cycle implementation. 
  • Experience as a resource in the implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud project (Release 10 or later). 
  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization 
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)  
  • Commitment to gaining exposure in multiple industries  
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment  
  • Experience mentoring junior staff  
  • Experience leading an entire work stream of relevant Oracle applications
