Work You’ll Do
As an Associate you play a critical role in helping to deliver a full range of services and support to our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests. As part of the operations team, you assist in administrative services (e.g., mail, tax processing, printing), the delivery and execution for meetings and events, greeting and helping guests and visitors, and assisting with other office support activities that enables our professionals to effectively support our clients.
As an Associate at Deloitte your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting various office services tasks including; mail and tax processing, daily hoteling management (check-ins, reservations, etc.), requests for printing, managing supplies and equipment, facility upkeep, general cleaning (non-janitorial activities), assisting, and other office services as requested.
- Supporting day-of execution for meetings and events including: coordination with team/vendors, ensuring effective set-up/execution of events, supporting basic audiovisual equipment troubleshooting, and other last minute logistical needs.
- Effectively managing and executing requests by assessing needs, securing all necessary details, managing customer’s expectations, and reviewing work product for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the customer’s request, and acting with the appropriate sense of urgency and priority.
- Collaborating with team members and management to ensure effective execution of services and support and to solve problems and address conflicts
- Adding value through critical thinking, problem solving, and anticipating the needs of customers to enhance their experience
- Cross-train in other department services areas to provide back-up support as needed
- Perform other tasks and special projects as required or as assigned by management team
The Operations Team
At Deloitte, the internal operations team provides a full-range of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs, meeting and event planning and execution, and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric “experience” for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 1 year of related hospitality or office support experience preferably in a corporate, hospitality, service-oriented or customer-centric environment
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum high school diploma required
- Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Approachable, professional, and energetic attitude
- Proficient written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Effective skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiation
- Ability to work occasional overtime
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
