Work You’ll Do

As an Associate you play a critical role in helping to deliver a full-range of services and support to our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests. As part of the operations team you assist in the delivery and execution for meetings and events; administrative services (e.g. mail, printing); greeting and helping guests and visitors; and assisting with other office support activities that enables our professionals to effectively support our clients. 


As an Associate at Deloitte your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting day-of execution for meetings and events including: coordination with team/vendors, ensuring effective set-up/execution of events; supporting basic audiovisual equipment troubleshooting; and other last minute logistical needs.
  • Supporting various office tasks and administrative services including: supporting the Office Experience welcome desks; mail processing; daily hoteling management (check-ins, reservations, etc.); requests for printing; managing supplies and equipment; facility upkeep; general cleaning (non-janitorial activities); assisting with tax processing; and other office services as requested.
  • Effectively managing and executing requests by assessing needs, securing all necessary details, managing customer’s expectations, and reviewing work product for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the customer’s request; and acting with the appropriate sense of urgency and priority.
  • Collaborating with team members and management to ensure effective execution of services and support and to solve problems and address conflicts
  • Adding value through critical thinking, problem solving, and anticipating the needs of customers to enhance their experience

The Operations Team

At Deloitte, the internal operations team provides a full-range of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs, meeting and event planning and execution, and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric “experience” for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.


What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 1 year of related office support experience in a service-oriented or customer-centric environment 
  • High school diploma
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Positive, energetic attitude 
  • Proficient written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Effective skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

What’s Nice to Have

  • Associate/bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Corporate background with focus on meetings & events

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $37320 to $62200.
