Work You’ll Do

As an Associate you play a critical role in helping to deliver a full-range of services and support to our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests. As part of the operations team you assist in greeting and helping guests and visitors; the delivery and execution for meetings and events; administrative services (e.g. mail, printing); and assisting with other office support activities that enables our professionals to effectively support our clients. 

As an Associate at Deloitte your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting various office tasks and administrative services including: visitor/ customer reception desk and phones; processing and delivery of mail; requests for printing; managing supplies and equipment; facility upkeep; and general cleaning (non-janitorial activities)
  • Supporting day-of execution for meetings and events including: coordination with team/vendors, ensuring effective set-up/clean-up; supporting basic audiovisual equipment troubleshooting; and other meeting and last minute logistical needs
  • Effectively managing and executing requests by assessing needs, securing all necessary details, managing customer’s expectations, and reviewing work product for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the customer’s request
  • Collaborating with team members and management to ensure effective execution of services and support and to solve problems and address conflicts
  • Adding value through critical thinking, problem solving, and anticipating the needs of customers to enhance their experience

The Operations Team

At Deloitte, the internal operations team (known as the “One Team”) provides a full-range of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs, meeting and event planning and execution, and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric “experience” for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.

What You’ll Need :

  • Minimum of 1 year of related office support experience in a service-oriented or customer-centric environment 
  • High school diploma
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Positive, energetic attitude 
  • Proficient written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Effective skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiation
What’s Nice to Have 

  • Associate/bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Corporate background with focus on meetings & events
