The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.
- Lead and participate in design, development, modernization, or sustainment of complex computer network systems to include both hardware and software with minimal support
- Troubleshoot operation or design problems
- Attend technical meetings and function as a subject matter expert for system requirement, architecture, and design
- Develop technical briefs and present briefs to leadership when required
- Monitor and meet project deadlines related to system development, Engineering Change Request, and configuration management
- Produce technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, and thorough implementation instructions
- Review, recommend, and write updates to technical documentation in support of the US Government
- Develop, update, and maintain program of record documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Must have an active U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering is required from an accredited university
- 5+ years of Network Systems Engineering experience
- Required to work on-site with customers and end users within the DoD community.
- Understanding of the DoD acquisition lifecycle framework
- Experience with all aspects of systems engineering such as requirements elicitation, analysis, derivation and traceability, functional analysis and allocation, WBS, trade studies, modeling and simulation, metrics, risk management, integration and test, verification and validation
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
