Work you’ll do 

• Monitor, administer, securely install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), network encryption devices Tactical Fastlane (TACLANE) and Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), load balancers, domain name system (DNS) appliances, Palo Alto and wireless infrastructure.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
• Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures;
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems;
• Replace faulty network hardware components when required;
• Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made; Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
• Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems
• Coordinate computer network access and use;
• Design, configure and test networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software; F5 LTM, APM, ASM
• Provide complete lifecycle support for enterprise network assets

Qualifications 

Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be available to be on site in Seaside, CA
  • Minimum of 5 years of Network Administration experience
  • Firewall management experience in a multi-vendor environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel


 

·         The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92k - $140k.
