Work you’ll do
Serve as a full-time Momentum ERP System Administrator (SysAdmin) for a large, complex Department of Defense project. The project will include a various workstreams related to Program Management, Governance, Business/Functional Capabilities documentation and review; Process Flow development, data mapping, data migration, interfaces, identify and access management, testing, training, stakeholder management, change management, and system infrastructure and hosting.
Responsibilities include:
- Training and mentoring junior system and database administrators
- Creating and monitoring Oracle’s (Service Requests) SR escalation process for the Oracle 19C database
- Assessing infrastructure and hosting requirements and recommending enhancements
- Monitoring system availability and responding to unplanned events
- Executing the processes and activities for solution backup, recovery, refresh/cloning, performance tuning, and security (physical and data)
- Installing and verifying application patches, security and configuration updates
- Supporting and performing capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, testing, etc.
- Performing software application and database upgrades; cloning; patching; monitoring and tuning the Production and Non-Production environments
- Troubleshooting advanced functional, technical, and integration issues
- Serving as advisor to stakeholders on business and information integration strategies
- Evaluating database and system administration processes and procedures in the current and future state

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- 5+ years of Systems Administration experience
- Comptia Security+ certification required
- Experience working with Linux Red Hat Operating System (O/S)
- Experience with reading/writing shell scripts, SQL and PL/SQL scripts
- Experience with applying patches and clone environments
Preferred:
- Ability to identify STIG discovery and remediation preferred
- Past working experience with hosting complex ERPs systems in a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
- Experience working with DoD or IC Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) standards and processes
- Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS
- High-level understanding of key security concepts and firewalls.
- Experience working with ERP financial systems
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS GovCloud, Azure, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Excellent analysis, documentation and consulting skills
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Familiarity working with sensitive data in a secure environment is a plus
- Familiarity with the Authority-to-Operate (ATO) processes
- Ability to identify STIG discovery and remediation
- Experienced programming skills for database management and general software
