Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients including the following:

  • Act as the lead, interfacing between clients and our Deloitte teams
  • Help to create testing solutions to meet clients’ business needs
  • Mobile development and automation/test project
  • Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in java and Appium
  • Collaborate effectively across various teams including product and engineering groups
  • Follow quality improvement processes and conduct code reviews

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators. 

 

Qualifications

 Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Lead
  • Development experience in Core Java
  • Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
  • iOS Mobile Test Automation
  • Selenium Test NG
  • Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
  • Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
  • Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
  • Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
  • Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools e.g. Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket
  • Ability to work with limited to no guidance in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • This role is based onsite in Atlanta, GA
