Master UX/UI Designer – PDM Manager

As a Master UX/UI Designer in our Hybrid-Operate business, you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, share ideas, and collaborate with leading professionals as we engage a diverse set of industries with effective solutions.
Work you’ll do
As a Master UX/UI Designer, you will help lead the design, development, and implementation of accessible, user-friendly sites and programs. Ideal candidates will have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate as a team with technical and product leaders while also contributing independently. Candidates must be passionate about technology, demonstrate strong troubleshooting and research facilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Day to day job responsibilities may include:
- Leverage your expertise to extract business and technical requirements and work with designer(s) to develop innovative, high-quality flows and wireframes for web/mobile applications
- Lead/manage a project team of UI/UX designers and facilitate the design process by collaborating with product management and engineering teams
- Oversee the development of prototypes, review and validate designs with stakeholders to improve the user experience of new and existing products
- Lead teammates and internal stakeholders to drive adoption and usage of our Design System and ensure documentation within the Design System is up-to-date and easy to use
- Serve as an SME on user interface design and stay up-to-date with latest trends
- Guide developers, project managers, and other internal teams to optimize processes for user-centered design thinking
- Present mock-ups, wireframes, concepts, prototypes and final designs to stakeholders and internal teams
- Provide regular progress updates and status to management
- Ability to innovate and visualize simple, intuitive experiences based on complex requirements
- Ability to communicate detailed design specs to internal teams
The desired candidate will be analytically minded, and solution focused. They will possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a new organization/team. Lastly, they will be able to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization and provide guidance/direction to junior team-members.

Technical Knowledge and Experience
Required:
- Master's or bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a UI/UX designer.
- A successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.
- A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered product design solutions
- Ability to guide junior team members to deliver high quality work products
- Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- An innate capacity for creating engaging, highly usable designs and layouts
- Ability to oversee the development of wireframes and mockups in a fast-paced environment and comfortable guiding teams to build designs without all the product details
- High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver high quality project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Good organizational/planning and execution skills
- Strong work ethics & commitment to client service excellence

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado, and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,833 to $187,425.
