Position Summary

Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP seeks a Master Software Engineer in Hermitage, TN.

Work You’ll Do

Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support software applications and 3rd party tools. Provide subject matter expertise in specific platforms technologies, domains and/or tools that are strategic to the operation of the Discovery function. Provide technical leadership for the function and enforces standards, procedures, and development methodologies. Collaborate with QA professionals to encourage defect prevention over detection. Coordinate closely with professionals, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure user stories and tasks are thoroughly understood by the entire team. Identify, escalate, and take ownership of initiatives designed to support strategic EDSC needs. Provide input around improvement of development processes. Mentor junior team members. Provide 3rd level production support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Five years of experience designing, developing, architecting, and deploying complex .NET applications.
  • Experience must include five years of:
    • Developing solutions utilizing Aurelia, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, and GitHub;
    • Analyzing, enhancing, and maintaining technical documentation to make systems operational and effective;
    • Managing multiple competing priorities within a team environment;
    • Developing hardware and software specifications based on business need and architecting standards;
    • Designing and utilizing troubleshooting strategies to resolve software problems;
    • Providing responsive analysis and resolution to situations affecting system availability or performance; and
    • Working with project management liaisons to establish tasks and level of effort.
  • Experience must include three years of:
  • Leading evaluation, integration, and testing of new electronic discovery tools and technologies.
