Position Summary

Risk & Financial Advisory – Master Software Engineer - Relativity Development Manager

As a Master Software Engineer within the Hybrid-Operate group, you’ll have the opportunity to drive innovative usages of Relativity working alongside leading professionals across diverse industries.

Work you’ll Do

You will collaborate with other Relativity development, infrastructure, and security professionals to implement complex cloud based integrated solutions.  The key job responsibilities will be to:


  • Support development of business cases with customer teams including determining platform fit and leading estimation efforts around solutions
  • Lead the overall Application Architecture for applications built on top of Relativity
  • Ensure application development adheres to the architecture/design guidelines
  • Participate in/Lead enterprise level design board discussions
  • Technical leadership/mentoring of Relativity developers
  • Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership and contribute towards on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Define and enforce development guidelines and interface closely with governance teams
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future products by reviewing product backlogs and appraising new product ideas and/or changes
  • Lead SAFe project management ceremonies

Lastly, they will be passionate about learning and applying their technical skills and experiences to solve real-world problems, and possess strong listening, verbal, & written communication skills.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience with Relativity; including both Relativity Server and RelativityOne
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript frameworks, Restful API, PowerShell etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages including popular JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Aurelia, Angular…), and CSS skills.
  • Strong knowledge of C#
  • Expert knowledge of Relativity development ecosystems including views, layouts, RDOs, agents, APIs, Kepler services and event handlers
  • Working knowledge of MASA/SOA architecture with understanding of web service standards such as WSSE, OAuth, SAML etc. and technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and design considerations
  • Application runtime experience on Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Strong SQL Server skills
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL technologies (Relativity DataGrid specifically).
  • Working knowledge of leading test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve


·       Relativity certifications (RCA, Relativity Master, Infrastructure Specialists, …)

  • Experience with UX, RPA and case flow management for BPM (workflow) tools.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Relativity development, including integrations and extensibility to other platforms/applications.
