Qualifications
Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of one (1) year of federal government experience to perform complex audits on a variety of programs and assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with programs laws, regulations and provisions.
- Provides audit support and risk assessment responsibilities as follows:
- Research abnormal accounting conditions for expired records using various accounting systems.
- Recommend accounting adjustments with Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) to the appropriate program office or MAO analyst.
- Prepare, report, and review expired unliquidated obligation (ULOs) transactions.
- Provide KSDs in support of audit or evaluation activities.
- Assist with the testing, review, and analysis of the Dormant Account Review (DAR-Q) on a quarterly basis.
- Develop trainings and procedures on an as needed basis for the MAO office.
