Work you’ll do.
The Manager of Billing Operations will partner with leadership to manage and oversee the financial lifecycle of engagements including project set up, project code and rate management, invoice generation, and project closeout. You will manage the team across various geographies, both US and USI. Work directly with client engagement team’s leadership to collaborate on account or portfolio level analysis and provide metrics to support recommendations.
This role will also be responsible for accelerating growth in Hybrid-Operate through collaboration with other solutions by identifying opportunities for the Billing Center of Excellence (BCOE) to support invoicing and other support tasks. Efforts will include documenting the process and technology, identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and work towards greater standardization. The desired candidate is an organized, self-driven individual with a proven ability to achieve financial objectives. They will possess strong listening, verbal, & written communication skills, and will be able to bridge understandings across various teams (the business, finance, and various support teams, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in managing and supervising teams.
- Experience in researching and clearly documenting accounting issues and applicable accounting standards.
- Ability to read complex documents, synthesize and summarize important facts.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Ability to think creatively, problem solve and work independently on multiple workstreams.
- Experience in driving a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
- Proven “outside the box” thinker who identifies problems and develops creative solutions.
- Illustrate ability to manage, continuously educate, and coach effectively.
- Demonstrated competence in teaming, time management, organizational management, and multiple project/workstream communications.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 113,074 to $198,375.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
