UX Strategist Manager

As a US Strategist Manager, you'll implement a “design thinking” approach to developing valuable experiences that improve people’s lives and client business results. You are an endlessly curious professional, up to date with new trends, technologies and tools to develop the best digital experiences across the widest markets. Your passion for UX drives you to foster design thinking and best practices, stimulating and intriguing people both within and outside the team.

  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates your range of experience and thinking, that showcases your process, deliverables, and roles on projects—from setting strategic direction through tactical implementation.

  • Proven experience managing and leading cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience working on a virtual team within a highly matrixed organization, preferably for a global corporation or professional services firm
  • Identifies and/or follows leading practices to assess resources and budget for client projects and initiatives
  • Skilled at gaining consensus when differing viewpoints are presented
  • Demonstrates leadership, maturity, and accountability through extra-curricular and community activities

  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism with a strong executive presence

Brand & Communication skills

  • Understands marketing fundamentals with a focus on strategy/trends and execution in the B2B arena
  • Leverages design thinking, and other modern problem-solving tools, to develop innovative marketing solutions
  • Demonstrates excellent command of editorial standards, along with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Provides creative ideas and input to enhance communication programs
  • Supports delivering Deloitte’s story to a variety of stakeholders through multiple communication channels and thought leadership initiatives as defined by our corporate communications strategy

Creative and Digital skills

  • Working knowledge of HTML, Web, CMS publishing and/or CSS JavaScript
  • UX/UI design experience and familiarity with UXPin
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative and Marketing Clouds (i.e. AEM, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, InCopy)
  • Brings creative concepts to life through video production and motion design
  • Manages print, digital, and video production projects
  • Drives the creative process to produce high-quality, original content

Technical skills

  •  Leverages technology to support and enhance communication processes
  • Uses Workfront to enhance collaboration, manage assets and maintain visibility of project workflows

Key Responsibilities

  • Form a bridge between our UX Designers and business-focused teams to ensure that business goals and user needs always align
  • Facilitate cross-team and collaborative workshops to discuss and visualize what those perspectives look like in terms of the users’ and business’ goals
  • Identify and articulate high-impact research questions and opportunities that could help drive strategic design decisions
  • Synthesize user research and business data to help shape the product roadmap, designs, and future research activities
  • Review user stories to ensure objectives, goals, and requirements are clear and led by user research
  • Use storytelling to communicate high-level concepts and research insights in presentations, reports, and workshops
  • Evaluate and measure the outcome for design sprints to provide recommendations on how best to improve the overall product design and collaboration between the cross-functional team
  • Own sitemaps and navigational models and serve as the user advocate within integrated teams to ensure user experience aligns with a customer-centric approach
  • Clearly wireframe experiences to demonstrate how the user and business needs can be met through design
  • Create presentation decks for synthesizing insights and summarizing key points that bring a human-centered perspective to the business strategy 
  • Assist in creating a Business Model Canvas to help the team better understand how the business and product(s) create, deliver, and capture value
  • Create Value Proposition Maps that illustrate the values and needs of the product user and business
  • Help create and maintain product roadmaps
  • Create Stakeholder Maps to better understand the relationships between users and the other people involved in their workflow
  • Collaborate as needed with external UX vendors

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78570 to $144695.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
