Position Summary

The Talent Business Analyst Manager is a member of the Enabling Areas Talent Business Advisor organization, providing support to the Client & Market Growth (CMG) Talent Business Advisor team and leading a small team of analysts, in the delivery of strategic initiatives to the business. They will also support the Talent organization to plan and deliver transformational talent programs and processes. 

Work you’ll do

The Talent Business Analyst Manager will work closely with the Talent Business Advisor team to provide consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic talent priorities for the Enabling Areas channels.

  • Assists talent team in translating business strategies into actionable talent strategies
  • Analyzes data and fundamental information about the business and provides high level expertise and analytics; distills complex information into key insights, clear recommendations, and action plans
  • Applies the key concepts of logical structuring to create presentations and other business communications that resonate with and influence the business
  • Supports fostering change throughout the organization and ensures that talent strategies are aligned with the firm’s culture
  • Lead and deliver complex initiatives and drive process improvement projects
  • Collaborates across multiple facets of our organization and develops substantial relationships with key leaders to influence decisions
  • Cultivate ideas and advance them into actionable solutions to enable the business to lead from the front while providing the #1 talent experience for our professionals
  • Work with talent leaders on initiatives across various areas of talent like compensation, talent survey, workforce planning, and talent acquisition, etc.
  • Develop programs, manage cross-functional collaboration, prepare project plans and provide regular status updates to leadership
  • Exhibits strong executive presence and the ability to clearly communicate complex talent topics to business leadership
  • Lead and direct staff analyst by delegating responsibilities, developing their skills and providing coaching

The team

The Business Advisor organization champions a “One Talent Team” through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required & at least 5 years of experience at Deloitte
  • PowerPoint Storyboarding and executive level presentation development
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel (formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Executive level presence and strong written communication skills
  • Team player who will flourish in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience with leading and managing others
  • Business acumen and analytical skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,000-$177,000. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
