Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Strategy in Seattle, WA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

MANAGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS INCLUDING THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENTS THAT ADDRESS THEIR NEXT GENERATIONAL NEEDS; CREATE EFFECTIVE VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS, IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY OBJECTIVES FOR CLIENTS WITHIN THE TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA, AND TELECOMMUNICATION SECTOR. MANAGE ENTERPRISE DIGITAL STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT FOR CLIENTS BASED ON TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA, AND TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY MARKET TRENDS AND CLIENTS BUSINESS NEEDS. MANAGE CLIENT CAPABILITY GAP ANALYSIS TO ACHIEVE PLANNED GROWTH, DEFINE INITIATIVES AND BUILD TRANSFORMATION ROADMAPS. MANAGE FUTURE STATE ARCHITECTURE ROAD-MAPPING AND CONDUCTING VENDOR ASSESSMENT TO RECOMMEND SOLUTIONS BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS. MANAGE TEAMS THAT AIM TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS THAT CREATE AND CAPTURE VALUE FOR THE ORGANIZATION, SUPPORTED BY A STRONG OPERATIONS FOUNDATION. MANAGE ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY. SYNTHESIZE OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS; SELECT THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS BUSINESS CASE, PRICING, OR COMPLEX FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS. PERFORM ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES; PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. IMPROVE INTERNAL PROCESSES, AND PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE TEAM, BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, BLOGS, AND OTHER FORMS OF MARKET EMINENCE.

Requirements 

REQUIRES A MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • UTILIZING INDUSTRY STANDARD CAPABILITY MAP AND CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGIES;
  • UTILIZING MICROSOFT POWERPOINT TO ARTICULATE FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS BASED ON FUTURE STATE ARCHITECTURE ROAD-MAPPING AND VENDOR ASSESSMENTS;
  • PARTICIPATING IN PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRICING STRATEGIES FOR EXISTING PROJECT EXTENSIONS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES;
  • MANAGING ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY;
  • PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES;
  • ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK, UTILIZING INDUSTRY STANDARD CAPABILITY MAP AND CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGIES;
  • MANAGING TEAMS THAT AIM TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS, UTILIZING TECHNOLOGY GROWTH STRATEGY METHODOLOGIES;
  • MANAGING DAY TO DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS; DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS;
  • LEADING THE QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) FOR CLIENTS DELIVERABLES INCLUDING CURRENT STATE ASSESSMENT, FUTURE STATE RECOMMENDATIONS, ROADMAP AND COST TO ACHIEVE DOCUMENTS PER BUSINESS SPECIFICATIONS AND AGREED TIMELINES; AND
  • TRANSFORMING AND VISUALIZING DATA, EVALUATING BUSINESS PROCESSES, AND DRAWING INSIGHTS FROM ANALYSIS THROUGH DIFFERENT TOOLS INCLUDING BI PUBLISHER AND TABLEAU FOR DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENT CHALLENGES.
