Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Strategy in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do 

Manage technology projects including the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address next generational needs; create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Manage teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations foundation. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Participate in proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements 

MASTERS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD OR A RELATED FIELD. THREE YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE THE EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE AND FIVE YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE EXPERIENCE AS NOTED ABOVE. MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • MANAGING TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS, INCLUDING THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS THEIR NEXT GENERATIONAL NEEDS AND CREATING EFFECTIVE VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS, IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS OBJECTIVES, UTILIZING MICROSOFT (MS) SUITE AND GOOGLE WORKSPACE PRODUCTS;
  • MANAGING ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY;
  • PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING BUSINESS PROCESSES, TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS AND SERVICES, IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK, AND DESIGNING PROCESSES AND SOLUTIONS, UTILIZING MS SUITE, GOOGLE WORKSPACE PRODUCTS AND AGILE TOOLS, INCLUDING JIRA;
  • WORKING WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS TO ORCHESTRATE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BUSINESS STRATEGY AND IT VISION, AND HELP CLIENTS ACHIEVE STRATEGIC GROWTH AND MAXIMIZE RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI);
  • MANAGING TEAMS THAT AIM TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, UTILIZING MS SUITE, GOOGLE WORKPLACE PRODUCTS, AND AGILE TOOLS;
  • LEADING FUTURE-STATE DESIGNING, ROAD-MAPPING AND CONDUCTING IT ASSESSMENTS TO RECOMMEND SOLUTIONS BASED ON THE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, UTILIZING MS SUITE PRODUCTS; O UTILIZING WATERFALL, AGILE, HYBRID AGILE, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) SCRUM PROCESSES TO PROVIDE SCALABLE AND AVAILABLE DESIGNS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS;
  • WORKING ACROSS PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL PROJECT DELIVERY AND SOFTWARE LIFECYCLE, INCLUDING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF IT SOLUTIONS LEVERAGING TOOLS, INCLUDING MS SUITE, GOOGLE WORKSPACE, SQL, JIRA, AND HP QUALITY CENTER FOR PRODUCT AND STRATEGY INSIGHT SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS.
