Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a  Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Strategy in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address next generational needs; create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Manage teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations foundation. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Participate in proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN  EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • MANAGING DELIVERY OF END-TO-END APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO ADDRESS BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND COMMUNICATE UPDATES TO LEADERSHIP USING MICROSOFT (MS) OFFICE;
  • MANAGING PROJECT ISSUES, RISKS, AND CHANGES TO ENSURE PREDICTABLE DELIVERY OF PROJECTS FROM A SCOPE, SCHEDULE, COST, AND QUALITY STANDPOINT;
  • LEADING TEAMS ACROSS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) PHASES, INCLUDING BUSINESS ANALYSIS, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, UNIT TESTING, SYSTEM TESTING, AND DEPLOYMENT PHASES;
  • UTILIZING MS POWER BI (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE), MS SHAREPOINT, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, MS .NET, WEB SERVICES, JAVASCRIPT, UNIX APPLICATION PROGRAMMING, MS OFFICE, HTML, AND SQL SERVER TO ARCHITECT AND IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CUSTOMER NEEDS;
  • PREPARING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP), TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS, AND REUSABLE ARTIFACTS UTILIZING MS OFFICE, MS POWER BI, MS SHAREPOINT, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, MS .NET, WEB SERVICES, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, AND SQL SERVER;
  • UTILIZING C++, C#, JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, WINDOWS, PROCESS ENGINEERING, SQL SERVER, DATABASE ENGINEERING, INFORMATICA POWER CENTER, .NET ARCHITECTURE , .NET DEVELOPMENT, WEB SERVICES, UNIFIED MODELING LANGUAGE (UML), HTML, AND JAVASCRIPT TO CREATE SOLUTION OPTIONS THAT MEET CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, PRODUCE SOFTWARE PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENTS, AND GENERATE REUSABLE TECHNOLOGY COMPONENTS;
  • EXECUTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, AND CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) ACTIVITIES USING MS OFFICE;
  • IDENTIFYING AND RECOMMENDING SOLUTION OPTIONS THAT INCLUDE PEOPLE, PROCESS, AND TECHNOLOGY ATTRIBUTES AFTER TRANSLATING BUSINESS, SYSTEM, FUNCTIONAL, AND NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS INTO ARCHITECTURAL AND HIGH-LEVEL DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS;
  • PREPARING STATUS REPORTS FOR SENIOR LEADERSHIP, COORDINATING WITH MULTIPLE GLOBAL TEAMS, AND INTERFACING WITH CUSTOMERS.
  • 80% TRAVEL REQUIRED NATIONALLY.
