Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in San Jose, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Manage information technology projects including the creation of innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs; create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within the technology, media, and telecommunication sector. Manage enterprise digital strategy development for clients based on technology, media, and telecommunication industry market trends and clients business needs. Manage client capability gap analysis to achieve planned growth, define initiatives and build transformation roadmaps. Manage future state architecture road-mapping and conducting vendor assessment to recommend solutions based on the requirements. Manage projects that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations foundation. Participate in proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery;
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Working with Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI);
  • Utilizing Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, Keynote, and Sharepoint to perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities;
  • Utilizing Tableau and MS Excel to analyze business solutions and select the most relevant tools and techniques to meet specific client requirements;
  • Leveraging Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and SharePoint to manage teams that provide organization leaders with the tools to build flexible and innovative business models; and
  • Working across phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testingand maintenance, for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients.
