Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Boston, MA  and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage teams that aim to provide clients with modeling options and scenario planning that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations foundation. Lead information technology and operation-focused projects to help clients unlock the value of their digital and operational footprints and investments. Overseeing the full cycle of engagement delivery, from definition of scope to workshop sessions to quality assurance activities. Participate in proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Mentor junior staff; provide comprehensive technical and soft skills training. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements 

REQUIRES A MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • MANAGING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OR DATA ANALYTICS PROJECTS, INCLUDING THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS CLIENTS NEXT GENERATIONAL NEEDS AND CREATING EFFECTIVE VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS OBJECTIVES;
  • PARTICIPATING IN ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY;
  • PROVIDING ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS UTILIZING PROJECT PLANS, STRUCTURED STATUS REPORTING, RISK AND ISSUE IDENTIFICATION AND ANALYTICS WITHIN MS PROJECT, MS POWERPOINT, AND MS EXCEL;
  • AND VALUE REALIZATION AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS UTILIZING KPIS (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS) AND PERFORMANCE METRICS IN MICROSOFT EXCEL (MS EXCEL) AND MICROSOFT POWERPOINT (MS POWERPOINT);
  • PERFORMING ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH, ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RETENTION ACTIVITIES, AND PROVIDING SYNTHESIZING OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING SETUP AND OPERATIONS OF GOVERNANCE MODELS, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR PROJECT TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES;
  • ASSISTING WITH MANAGING DAY TO DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS, AND DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS; AND
  • TRANSFORMING AND VISUALIZING DATA AND DRAWING INSIGHTS FROM ANALYSIS THROUGH KPI DASHBOARDS, STATISTICAL MODELS, AND ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORKS BUILT IN MS EXCEL AND MS POWERPOINT FOR DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENT CHALLENGES IN THE FINANCIAL SECTOR.
