Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage advisory and implementation information technology projects within large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and/or cloud-based platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage teams that perform data management, such as master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling while utilizing technologies. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering (any), any STEM field or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience. Must have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Hadoop Hive/Impala, Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) Platform, Oracle PL/SQL Developer and AxiomSL Platform to produce insights that leverage on-premise, web, and cloud-based platforms;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Erwin Data Modeler to perform data management, such as master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling;
  • Managing teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using such data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools as Tableau Analytics and Python to produce analysis and algorithms;
  • Leveraging JIRA, MS Visio, Hadoop Hive/Impala, and OFSAA Platform to drive the full data delivery lifecycle for Agile and Waterfall implementations;
  • Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities and develop frameworks that improve client future-state organizational design and alignment to optimize efficiency and profitability;
  • Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience utilizing JIRA, HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM), Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Visio;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing JIRA, HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM), Agile & Waterfall Methodologies, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, and Tableau;
  • Developing and implementing profitability solutions enabling management to make business decisions regarding Liquidity Credit Risk (LCR) models, Basel III risk standards and generation of Regulatory reports in compliance with Federal and Regulatory requirements using OFSAA platform, AxiomSL technologies, Oracle SQL Developer, Python, Unix scripting, and Tableau; and
  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM), JIRA, Zoom, and Skype.
  • 80% Travel required nationally.
