Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager, Software Solutions Specialist in Lake Mary, FL.


Work You’ll Do

Guide the direction, operations, and maintenance for SAP S/4 CTC- Engagement Accounting (WIP) Global support, including but not limited to the SAP S/4 CTC functionality of billing, creation of drafts, pro-forma, and life to date adjustments. Oversee all software development and enhancement projects and support for SAP S/4 CTC-EA-WIP process thread. Execute complex build activities and integrate designs across multiple technologies and projects. Design and oversee a complex system testing environment. Confirm supportability of implementation plans. Assist clients with configuration design decisions. Monitor compliance to standardized procedures and best practices and create new policies and processes as needed. Oversee complex decisions and make recommendations to customers/clients. Work with offshore Technical Delivery Manager(s) to optimize the development resource model. Manage daily progress and status of deliverables on projects. Manage both internal teams and offshore vendor teams' project delivery plans and ensure proper staffing. Define and direct tasks of Specialists and development teams.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Three years of experience designing and building technical solutions in SAP.
  • Experience must include three years of:
    • Utilizing SAP ABAP to build solutions based on project requirements, including reports, enhancements to standard objects, interface programs, conversion programs, Adobe and Smart form layouts to manage output of various business documents, and workflows for automating business processes;
    • Utilizing SAP FIORI, SAP Ui5, and OData development in SAP NetWeaver gateway to build front-end solutions to improve user experience;
    • Troubleshooting database connectivity and user access issues and performing system performance tuning;
    • Utilizing cross-functional knowledge in SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), Material Management (MM), Project Systems (SAP PS), and SAP Finance to enhance and propose new solutions for business requirements;
    • Utilizing Agile/ASAP methodology business development model to deliver projects according to timelines;
    • Utilizing SAP solution manager to manage project deliverables, HPQC tools for defects management and technical unit testing, and ServiceNow tools for incidents/problem management to facilitate production support activities; and
    • Interfacing directly with business stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing business requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy business needs.
  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience as stated above.
  • Experience must include one year of:
    • Designing and enhancing solutions to enable WIP management process for ongoing projects as well as for management of deliverables and receivables;
    • Developing coding guidelines and best practices to ensure the quality of deliverables as per business requirements, providing guidance to junior developers through architecture framework, and coding best practices; and
    • Utilizing SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC Architecture to design and deliver solutions in accordance with business needs.
