Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager, Software Solutions Specialist in Hermitage, TN.


Work You’ll Do

Customize and enhance Deloitte’s managed project process templates based on professional services industry-specific requirements. Analyze Deloitte legacy systems, underlying business processes, functional areas, data hierarchies, and reporting methods. Identify gaps and develop proposed solutions incorporating industry-specific standards, tools, templates, and accelerators. Monitor, analyze and report on project status against planned timelines and procedures. Customize solutions and replace outdated subscription billing systems. Assist in new system implementation processes, gap analysis, business process configuration, change management testing, complete cut-over activities, and support phase hyper-care. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Deloitte Services professionals.





  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a three-year foreign degree).
  • Four years of experience designing and building technical solutions in SAP.
  • Experience must include four years of:
    • Preparing and reviewing functional specifications for enhancements and coordinating development of objects;
    • Supporting full lifecycle implementations, including analysis, design, testing and configuration of Sales and Distribution scenarios;
    • Converting business requirements into functional specifications to develop ABAP programs;
    • Developing comprehensive test plans and executing complex build activities;
    • Providing configuration, testing, cut-over, conversion, and post-deployment support for enhancement projects;
    • Utilizing WIP management process, including S4 HANA SD, S4 HANA PS, and S4 HANA Finance; and
    • Interpreting and translating functional specifications into ABAP (technical specifications), including creating high-level designs for the requested developments.
  • Experience must include two years of:
    • Architecting SAP solutions for a wide range of applications, including CPM (Commercial Project Management), master data, and reporting; and
    • Utilizing ABAP code to troubleshoot custom programs and to advise on functional specifications with basic technical specifications.
