About the Role

As a manager, you will oversee and execute a wide range of strategic, transformational projects or initiatives on behalf of Advisory Senior Leaders in the organization. You will direct and manage projects, and coordinate project/initiative work teams on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various parts of the business and communicate to key stakeholders and executive leadership regarding projects/initiatives.

About the Team

Advisory’s Office of the Executive and Transformation (OET) focuses on the execution of practice-wide strategic, transformational and enterprise initiatives in support of the Risk and Financial Advisory (“Advisory”) Executive Team (CEO, Executive Committee Leaders and Management Committee Leaders).

Work you’ll do

  • Work closely with Executive leaders to facilitate (i.e., oversee, plan, and manage) execution of key projects and initiatives involving transformation and change strategy for Advisory.
  • Responsible for leading and implementing complex, firm-wide initiatives.
  • Provide strategic, analytical and project management support, and keep leadership abreast of noteworthy events, milestones and issues.
  • Provide support and oversight to major projects/initiatives. Organize teams and integration of all appropriate channels and sub-channels involved in execution and delivery of projects/initiatives. Manage against budget, talent and timeline goals.
  • Ensure the timely communication and flow of information among leadership and key stakeholders for projects/initiatives. Serve as a conduit and contact point so key objectives are communicated clearly and can be met.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provides advice to senior leadership on transformation and change strategy.
  • Contribute to/oversee the development of internal communications deliverables (including emails/voicemails, newsletters, presentations, speaking notes, etc.) to relay key messages or ask for participation/execution on activities.
  • Manage portfolio of projects and priority action items.
  • Collaborate and develop effective working relationships with diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop executive level presentations and reports.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis; research and establish analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analysis.
  • Manage, recruit, and coach a team of resources.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Change, Technology Development, or similar area of focus
  • 8+ years of related experience in business, process transformation, organizational change management, innovation management or consulting, and/or Strategy & Operations consulting experience with a top tier consulting firm
  • Deep analytical and presentation skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint)
  • Diplomacy, poise, maturity, and empathy are all key attributes for success
  • Strong project management/delivery and organization skills, ability to manage/ execute multiple strategic initiatives
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically (i.e., Critical thinking and the ability to execute on the details)
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Strong executive level presentation skills
  • Experience leading teams: Self-starter and ability to work remotely with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Collaborative nature and ability to build strong relationships virtually
  • “Upward management” skills / ability to work effectively with firm leaders
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Minimal travel is expected

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Change strategy and transformation experience preferred
  • 5 to 10 years of related experience with Deloitte Advisory in a client facing or management level support role is strongly preferred
  • Advanced degree
