The Procurement Project Management Office (PMO) Manager is the U.S. lead for a diverse team of procurement professionals who perform a variety of procurement functions in support of the Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. The Project Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day activities and ensuring on-time and accurate deliverables. The Project Manager plans and assigns tasking to the team monitoring workload and work product quality. The Project Manager will interface with the Procurement PMO Project Manager located in India to ensure U.S. and India practitioners are synced.
This role works collaboratively across the GPSC organization while also collaborating cross-functionally within the Operational Excellence team and across Deloitte’s Enabling Areas.

Work You Will Do:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a high performing group of direct reports at junior to mid-level job levels.
- Responsible for team’s performance, work allocation, and execution.
- Integrate with various GPSC and Engagement team stakeholders to manage the Procurement PMO.
- Collaborate with India counterpart to assign tasks, monitor workload, and ensure work quality.
- Work day-to-day activities along side the team; escalation point for complex issues.
- Support continuous process improvement activities.
- Manage team performance; mentor and coach team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years supply chain, procurement, or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Self-starter and continuous learner – willing to research complex topics and acquire new skills to get the job done.
- Analytical – grasps complex concepts and synthesizes unstructured data to summarize effectively.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition lifecycle to include FAR, DFARS, and other agency specific requirements.
- Ability to operate in a complex and demanding executive level environment.
- Strong prioritization skills, including the ability to balance multiple, competing high priority tasks.
- Ability to work successfully in a global, virtual team environment and make significant contributions toward achieving team goals and objectives.
- Working knowledge of subcontracts and purchasing principles, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), other Federal agency regulations, state procurement regulations, and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR).
- Experience with performance management and managing/leading a team.
- Works exceptionally well in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong prepared and extemporaneous presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker, creative problem-solver, and decision-maker; ability to find innovative, thoughtful solutions to a range of business problems.

- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams).
- Knowledge about the professional services industry.
- Excellent spoken, written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-layered matrix organization serving many leaders.
- Must be legally authorized to working in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or an equivalent field.
- Industry certification (i.e. PMP, CSCP, CPSM, SCPro, Six Sigma).
- Experience working with the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, or Department of Justice.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,070-$195,215.
