Position Summary

Manager, Financial Analysis

Job Summary:

Manages in-depth financial planning and business analysis for an assigned function or region within the firm. Prepares and distributes financial models and reports and provides recommendations to senior leadership on financial matters. Provides oversight to the planning and forecasting process and special projects. Creates, implements, and evaluates processes and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls. Supervises and oversees the training of resources. May specialize in Federal financial analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the financial results and analysis each period and oversees the close process; Reviews complex models that tracks expenses, estimation of future costs and liabilities, billings and collections, performance against budget, and reforecast and analyzes fluctuations.
  • Leads the planning and forecasting processes and oversees variance analyses and financial reconciliations.
  • Develops, implements, and manages special projects and studies that require an in-depth and comprehensive operational and financial analysis and review.
  • Manages the preparation of internal reports and presentations for senior leadership; Develops presentations that provide insight into financial trends. Presents recommendations on the strategic financial decisions.
  • Oversees and conducts regular reviews of compliance and effectiveness of processes, procedures and internal controls. Develops and manages the implementation of initiatives to improve procedural controls and optimize performance. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • SAP

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
