The work you’ll do

Finance Systems is looking for a Change Manager to support the design, implementation, and evolution of change strategies and plans to engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace the significant changes that are required to drive the business forward. The Change Manager will work with business leaders and application users to understand their needs and address them through executable strategic change initiatives. We are looking for someone with strong change management and communication abilities who excels in creatively managing change within complex organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments such as stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments for key stakeholder groups to drive development of data-driven change strategies

  • Understanding and utilizing the appropriate communication outlets, vehicles, and tools – including Deloitte Brand and other requirements – in executing communications and training
  • Work with Deloitte publication points-of-contact to ensure adherence to submission dates, templates, and standards (e.g., DeloitteNet, SWIFT Launchpad, etc.)
  • Identify training needs and develop content tailored to the stakeholder group
  • Plan, develop, and work with leadership and change networks to deliver communications and creative engagement activities, driving understanding about key changes
  • Measure effectiveness of change interventions and evolve plans as needed to best drive adoption
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to develop an understanding of Finance application portfolio to inform change strategies
  • Work with leadership to escalate and resolve risks and issues

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Professional with 5+ years of relevant experience in change management and/or communications related to strategic transformations and technology implementations; previous work experience with a professional services firm preferred
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
  • Desire and drive to understand complex finance systems and processes; experience with SAP and supportive finance applications a plus
  • Superior project management skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project
  • Extremely high attention to detail with exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate degree in business, change management, organization effectiveness or communications required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106k - $177k.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

SCAM ALERT

Caution against fraudulent job offers!

We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (“Deloitte”). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a ‘job’ with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.

We would like to clarify that:

  • At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
  • We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.
  • We have not authorized any party or person to collect any money from jobseekers in any form whatsoever for promises of getting jobs in Deloitte.
  • We consider candidates on merit and that we provide an equal opportunity to eligible applicants.
  • No one other than designated Deloitte personnel (e.g., a Deloitte recruiter or Deloitte hiring partner) is permitted to extend any job offer from Deloitte.

Anyone who at any time has made or makes any payment to any party in exchange for promises of job or selection for a job with Deloitte or any matter related to this (including those for ‘registration’, ‘verification’ or ‘security deposit’) or otherwise engages with any such person who has made or makes fraudulent promises or offers, does so (or has done so) entirely at their own risk. Deloitte takes no responsibility or liability for any such unauthorized or fraudulent actions or engagements. We encourage jobseekers to exercise caution.
