Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Technology & Performance, SAP in Costa Mesa, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage and deliver components of engagements; work to improve their ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. Three years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible experience as noted above. Must have three years of experience with:

    •     Evaluating the technology needs of an organization, developing strategies to increase the company's profitability; designing and implementing plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth, utilizing SAP Order to Cash (OTC) and SAP TAO (Test Acceleration and Optimization);
    •      Working across phases of the Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid Agile software development lifecycle for solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP S4HANA ON Premise, SAP S4HANA Cloud & SAP Digital solutions;
    •       Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in process workshops during the design process to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams, and prepare business blueprint documents utilizing Microsoft Suite, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & SAP DMS (Document Management System);
    •       Managing project teams and project delivery, tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing SAP- Activate Methodology, JIRA, MS Access, MS Project and SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management);
    •       Leading the quality assurance (QA) for client deliverables including functional design documents, configuration documents, unit testing, regression testing, and defect resolution per business specifications and agreed timelines, utilizing HP Quality Center, HP ITSM (Information Technology Service Management), HP Quick Test Professional, and eCATT (extended Computer Aided Test Tool);
    •       Participating in aspects of the proposal development process, contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies, utilizing SAP S4 HANA and & SAP Industry Specific Pre-Packaged Solutions; and
    •       Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities.
