Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a MANAGER, ENTERPRISE PERFORMANCE, SUPPLY CHAIN AND NETWORK OPERATIONS in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

MANAGE STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS PROJECTS INCLUDING THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS NEXT GENERATIONAL NEEDS; CREATE EFFECTIVE VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS, IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS OBJECTIVES. MANAGE TEAMS THAT AIM TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS THAT CREATE AND CAPTURE VALUE FOR THE ORGANIZATION, SUPPORTED BY A STRONG OPERATIONS FOUNDATION. MANAGE ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY. PARTICIPATE IN PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRICING STRATEGIES FOR EXISTING PROJECT EXTENSIONS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES. DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS; PARTICIPATE AND LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS; CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. PERFORM ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES; PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. IMPROVE INTERNAL PROCESSES, AND PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE TEAM, BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, BLOGS, AND OTHER FORMS OF MARKET EMINENCE.

Requirements 

MASTERS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE THE EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE EXPERIENCE AS NOTED ABOVE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • MANAGING STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS PROJECTS INCLUDING THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS THEIR NEXT GENERATIONAL NEEDS;
  • CREATING EFFECTIVE VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS, IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS OBJECTIVES, UTILIZING THE BENEFIT-EFFORT MATRIX, SIX- STEP SOURCING PROCESS, AND SOURCING GOVERNANCE PROCESSES;
  • PARTICIPATING IN PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRICING STRATEGIES FOR EXISTING PROJECT EXTENSIONS AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES;
  • MANAGING ENGAGEMENT PLANNING AND BUDGETING BY DEFINING DELIVERABLE STRUCTURE, CONTENT AND DELIVERY WHILE MANAGING RISKS AND QUALITY OF DELIVERY;
  • PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING PROCESSES, IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT ORG CAPABILITIES;
  • ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK, UTILIZING OPERATING MODEL DESIGN PROCESSES AND TECHNIQUES;
  • SYNTHESIZING OVERALL OPERATIONS, BUSINESS AND SALES STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS;
  • SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING COUPA, ARIBA, PROCUREMENTCENTRAL AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS, UTILIZING POWERPOINT, EXCEL AND TABLEAU;
  • MANAGING TEAMS THAT AIM TO PROVIDE ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH THE CAPABILITIES AND TOOLS TO BUILD FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS, UTILIZING LINEAR OPTIMIZATION AND EXCEL MODELING;
  • PERFORMING ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH;
  • ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES;
  • PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES;
  • LEADING THE QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) FOR CLIENTS DELIVERABLES INCLUDING BUDGET, RESOURCE AND TIMELINE MANAGEMENT PER BUSINESS SPECIFICATIONS AND AGREED TIMELINES;
  • MANAGING DAY TO DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS; DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS;
  • WORKING ACROSS PHASES OF SOURCING STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION, INCLUDING DATA ANALYSIS, EXTERNAL MARKET FACTOR ASSESSMENT AND INTERNAL OPERATIONS MATURITY FOR PRODUCT AND STRATEGY INSIGHT SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS; AND
  • TRANSFORMING AND VISUALIZING DATA, EVALUATING BUSINESS PROCESSES, AND DRAWING INSIGHTS FROM ANALYSIS THROUGH DIFFERENT TOOLS SUCH AS TABLEAU, EXCEL AND POWERPOINT FOR DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENT CHALLENGES.
