Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

LEAD AND MANAGE DELIVERY OF COMPLEX MEDIUM TO LARGE SCALE TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS IN PUBLIC SECTOR AND HIGHER EDUCATION CLIENTELE. LEAD BUSINESS DESIGN WORKSHOPS TO UNCOVER PAIN POINTS IN CURRENT FINANCIAL PROCESSES, CAPTURE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, AND SUBSEQUENTLY CONDUCT FIT-GAP ASSESSMENTS. CONDUCT ASSESSMENT OF CURRENT FINANCIAL, COST ACCOUNTING PROCESS IN LEGACY ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS FOR PUBLIC SECTOR AND HIGHER EDUCATION CLIENTS TO RECOMMEND PROCESS, TECHNOLOGY AND OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS TO FORMULATE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ROADMAP TO STATE-OF-THE-ART ERP SOLUTION. DRIVE KEY DESIGN DISCUSSIONS WITH CLIENT TO REVIEW VIABLE DESIGN OPTIONS AND FINALIZE THE APPROACH FOR KEY SOLUTION ELEMENTS. BUILD AND REVIEW HIGH QUALITY FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT LAYING OUT DESIGN DETAILS TO ENABLE DEVELOPMENT OF CUSTOM OBJECTS (REPORTS, WORKFLOWS, INTERFACES, ENHANCEMENTS) IN SAP. BUILD DETAILED PROJECT PLAN UTILIZING MICROSOFT PROJECTS TO TRACK AND PLAN FOR TIMELY EXECUTION OF VARIOUS IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT PHASES AND ENSURING PROJECT MILESTONES ARE MET. DESIGN AND DEMONSTRATE FIORI APPS FOR FINANCIAL AND COST ACCOUNTING BUSINESS PROCESSES AS A PROTOTYPE FOR EXISTING AND NEW CLIENTS. FACILITATE STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE CLARITY IN COMMUNICATION ACROSS ENGAGED TEAMS.

Requirements 

MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ENGINEERING (ANY), OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • DESIGNING CUSTOM SOLUTION AND CONFIGURING STANDARD SAP FICO MODULES INCLUDING ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE, NEW GENERAL LEDGER, CONTROLLING, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES, FINANCIAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (FSCM) AND INTEGRATION OF FINANCE WITH PAYROLL, MATERIAL MANAGEMENT, FUNDS MANAGEMENT, GRANTS MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC SECTOR COLLECTIONS AND DISBURSEMENT;
  • IMPLEMENTING FINANCIAL PROCESSES, PERIOD END CLOSING ACTIVITIES, COST ACCOUNTING, COST ALLOCATION, LABOR COST REDISTRIBUTION UTILIZING SAP NEW GENERAL LEDGER, UNIVERSAL JOURNAL, FINANCIAL CLOSING COCKPIT, CONTROLLING ASSESSMENT, DISTRIBUTION, OVERHEAD COST ACCOUNTING, AND UNIVERSAL ALLOCATION MODULES FOR PUBLIC SECTOR AND HIGHER EDUCATION CLIENTS;
  • LEADING ASSESSMENT WORKSHOPS WITH POTENTIAL CLIENTS TO UNCOVER PAIN POINTS AND RECOMMEND PUBLIC SECTOR AND HIGHER EDUCATION INDUSTRY LEADING PRACTICES ON OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES ACHIEVED UTILIZING SAP ERP CENTRAL COMPONENT (ECC) AND SAP S/4HANA FINANCE AND CONTROLLING MODULES;
  • DRIVING DISCUSSIONS WITH C-LEVEL AND BUSINESS PROCESS OWNERS TO IDENTIFY BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AROUND EXTERNAL FINANCIAL REPORTING FOR GENERALLY ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES (GAAP), COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS (CAFR) AND MANAGERIAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS;
  • DESIGNING AND AUTOMATING CLOSING TASKS FOR PUBLIC SECTOR AND HIGHER EDUCATION CLIENTS UTILIZING SAP FINANCIAL CLOSING COCKPIT SOLUTION TO INCREASE CLOSE PROCESS EFFICIENCY;
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES INITIATIVES IN GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICES INDUSTRIES BY CONTRIBUTING TO CLIENT POINT OF VIEW (POV) DOCUMENTS, RESPONDING TO RFI & RFPS, AND PRESENTING AT ORALS USING SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE IN CHART OF ACCOUNTS, GENERAL LEDGER, FINANCIAL AND BUDGET MASTER DATA, PERIOD END CLOSE AND COST ACCOUNTING;
  • DRAFTING TEST SCENARIOS, EXECUTING TEST SCRIPTS, MANAGING DEFECTS, AND GENERATING DASHBOARDS FOR EXECUTIVE REPORTING OF TESTING STATUS AND EFFECTIVE STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT UTILIZING USING HP QUALITY CENTER (HPQC) AND JIRA; AND
  • PLANNING, TRACKING, AND REPORTING PROJECT MILESTONES AND DELIVERABLE COMPLETION STATUSES TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING HYBRID AGILE METHODOLOGY, JIRA AND MICROSOFT SUITE DURING IMPLEMENTATION AND HYPERCARE PHASES.
