Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Parsipanny, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Manage SAP software advisory and implementation services to unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall information technology (IT) project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions, select the most relevant SAP financials, supply chain, sales and distribution, and project systems to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpret and report on outputs.  Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage and deliver components of IT project engagements, work to improve their ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems with SAP digital solutions. Evaluate the software technology needs, developing strategies to increase profitability, design and implement plans to comply with legislation, and ensure business growth. Participate and lead aspects of the IT project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Improve internal processes, and promote SAP knowledge sharing within the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. 

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Driving functional workshops in order to gather requirements and finalize the to-be business process and procedures in the SAP system;
  • Using SAP modules including FI-GL (General Ledger), FI-AR (Accounts Receivables) and FI-AP (Accounts Payables), FI-AA (Fixed Asset Accounting), CO (Controlling), Management Reporting, and Product Costing to translate business requirements into configuration values in the SAP system;  
  • Evaluating fit-gap analysis by mapping finalized requirements to the standard SAP package solution and subsequent effort estimates in order to build customized solutions;
  • Developing functional specifications for custom developments and interfacing with external systems via IDocs/EDI (Intermediate Document/Electronic Data Interchange) to cater to business requirements; and
  • Managing cross-functional teams in the areas of Unit testing, Integration testing, and cutover of the SAP software solution on client platforms in order to deploy and roll-out the to-be design of client business processes.
