Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Costa Mesa, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and stakeholders; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage and deliver components of engagements; work to improve their ability to react on digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Design and manage delivery of system, solution and integration architecture and strategy using automated integration tools like Deloitte Automated Interface Tool (DAIT) and other integration tools for On-Premise and Cloud systems. Lead the configuration management, integration, development, data and cutover teams and manage defect repair. Supervise and review work of subordinate team members to assure the sufficiency and proper implementation of methodologies and tools and adequacy of documentation to support advisory opinions. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, developing strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Ensure on-time, on-budget tracking of the project using Project Management Center (PMC).

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Conducting technical workshops utilizing Microsoft (MS) Suite to understand the clients’ current systems, integrations and business process, and outlining future processes in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), SAP S4/HANA, SAP C/4HANA, OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), xECM (Extended Enterprise Content Management), and EFM (Employee File Management);
  • Participating in blueprint sessions to perform fit-gap analysis, finalizing scope of RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows) objects, performing effort estimate, resource planning, and plan delivery timelines;
  • Preparing development strategy and methodology, reviewing framework, and managing delivery of code using SAP ABAP (Advance Business Application Programming), SAP APO (Advanced Planner Optimizer) ABAP, and HR (Human Resource Management) ABAP on SAP HANA and SAP Fiori ODATA Services;
  • Designing and leading delivery of integration strategy and architecture using SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), SnapLogic, and MuleSoft;
  • Conducting workshops and designing wireframes and POCs (Proof of Concepts) for UI (User Interface) using SAP Fiori, UI5, SAP Cloud platform Mobile Services, and SAP Cloud platform;
  • Developing data cleansing strategy using ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tool and frameworks;
  • Identifying and configuring tools to perform data profiling, cleansing, and conversion;
  • Guiding process teams on cross functional and technical impact for custom solutions being built in the following SAP modules: SCM (Supply Chain Management), P2P (Procure to Pay), RTR (Record to Report), HCM (Human Capital Management), APO DP (Advanced Planner Optimizer Demand Planning), SNP (Supply Network Planning), and SAP GATP (Global Available to Promise);
  • Delivering process, development, data, and integration threads on projects; and
  • Guiding Life sciences clients on FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and CFDA (China Food and Drug Administration) global trade requirements for shipping goods between USA and China. 
  • 80% travel required nationally.
