Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Customer and Marketing, Advertising, Marketing, & Commerce in Pleasanton, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

Manage IT project development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments ranging from requirements definition to architecture, story writing and wireframing, people management, project management, eCommerce, industry expertise, discovery workshop facilitation, product roadmap definition, agile project execution, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, including managing teams that may participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures within the full software development lifecycle. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process. Contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach. Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities. Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. 

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (ANY), CIS, MIS, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Candidate must also have five (5) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Working across all phases of the software development life cycle for designing, developing, testing, training and deploying e-commerce and/or web solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing business requirements and interfacing with clients to design technical solution using agile methodology and/or waterfall methodology;
  • Developing technical design specifications, including navigation flows, logic diagrams, process models, data models, and pseudo code for the design and development of solutions;
  • Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration (sit), black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications;
  • Researching user reported issues with implemented solutions, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams;
  • Reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using jira; and
  • Coordinating with cross-functional onshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks.
