Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Los Angeles, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do

MANAGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS INCLUDING DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES TO HELP COMPANIES UNLOCK THE VALUE OF BIG TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS RANGING FROM REQUIREMENTS TO ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN TO DEVELOPMENT, TESTING TO DEPLOYMENT, AND BEYOND AS DISCRETE SERVICES OR COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS. MANAGE AND DELIVER COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS, INCLUDING MANAGING TEAMS THAT MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN, FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES WITHIN THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC). MANAGE DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS; DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS. PARTICIPATE AND LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS; CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. PERFORM ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES; PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES; ESTIMATE TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. IMPROVE INTERNAL PROCESSES, AND PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE TEAM, BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, BLOGS, AND OTHER FORMS OF MARKET EMINENCE.

Requirements 

MASTERS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE THE EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE EXPERIENCE AS NOTED ABOVE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • MANAGING ALL PHASES OF SOFTWARE DELIVERY LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) TO DESIGN, DEVELOP, TEST, AND IMPLEMENT SMART CITY AND INTEGRATED ELIGIBILITY SOLUTIONS FOR GOVERNMENT CLIENTS IN THE GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SECTOR INDUSTRY, UTILIZING AGILE AND WATERFALL METHODOLOGIES;
  • MANAGING DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVES AND SPONSORS, AND DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS;
  • MANAGING ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS, AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS AND MANAGING DELIVERY OF ENGAGEMENT COMPONENTS, INCLUDING MANAGING TEAMS THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN AND FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, AND DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES WITHIN THE FULL SDLC, UTILIZING AXURE RAPID PROTOTYPING (RP) PRO, ECLIPSE BUSINESS PROCESS MODEL AND NOTATION (BPMN) MODELER, MICROSOFT (MS) OFFICE, INCLUDING MS VISIO, SALESFORCE.COM (SFDC) AGILE ACCELERATOR, AND SFDC DATA LOADER;
  • MANAGING BUSINESS PROCESSES AND HANDLING CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS, SCENARIO DEVELOPMENT, AND TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION, AS WELL AS LEADING DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND DEPLOYMENT, UTILIZING ASP.NET MODEL VIEW CONTROLLER (MVC), MS AND ORACLE PL/SQL, K2 BLACKPEARL, ENTERPRISE JAVA BEANS (EJB), JAVASCRIPT, AND SFDC APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING MOBILE PUBLISHER;
  • MANAGING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES BY PERFORMING UNIT, ACCESSIBILITY, SYSTEM, INTEGRATION AND USER ACCEPTANCE (UAT) TESTING, UTILIZING ATLASSIAN JIRA, SONARQUBE, MS TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS), JOB ACCESS WITH SPEECH (JAWS), SFDC SOAP APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API), AND SFDC MOBILE PUBLISHER PLAYGROUND, AND ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE TESTING WORK;
  • DEVELOPING, MAINTAINING, AND MANAGING PROJECT SCHEDULES AND DELIVERABLES FOR CLIENTS, UTILIZING ORACLE RIGHTNOW, MS PROJECT AND SMARTSHEET; AND
  • CREATING PLANS TO MITIGATE RISKS AND ISSUES OVER THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT, AND MANAGING THE SCOPE UTILIZING CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES INCLUDING CHANGE IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND MITIGATION METHODOLOGY.
