Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Customer & Marketing, Advertising Marketing and Commerce  in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Oversee and deliver components of engagements, including managing teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures within the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work.

Requirements

MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: DESIGNING AND ARCHITECTING WEB AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO INTEGRATE BUSINESS AND SUPPORT CLIENTS NEEDS; DESIGNING AND BUILDING ENTERPRISE SEARCH SOLUTIONS UTILIZING IDOL (INTELLIGENT DATA OPERATING LAYER), ELASTICSEARCH, APACHE SOLR AND APACHE LUCENE SEARCH ENGINES; PARTNERING WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS CHALLENGES AND PROVIDING APPLICATION PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS TO HELP DRIVE PROJECTS AND SOLUTIONS; UTILIZING HARD DATA AND METRICS INCLUDING PRECISION, RECALL, AND RECIPROCAL RANK TO BACK UP ASSUMPTIONS AND COMPLETE ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS (RCA);APPLYING DATA MINING TECHNIQUES ON MULTIPLE DATA SOURCES TO IMPROVE THE RANKING AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SEARCH WORK-FLOW AND THUS ENABLING BUSINESSES TO MAKE DATA DRIVEN DECISIONS; DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING SOLUTIONS USING JAVA/J2EE, PYTHON, MICROSERVICES, SPRING BOOT, SHELL SCRIPT, APACHE TIKA, NLTK (NATURAL LANGUAGE TOOLKIT), SPACY, AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING AND MACHINE LEARNING; AND DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING WEB SERVICES IN JAVA AND PYTHON USING API (APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE) PROTOCOLS AND DATA FORMATS, INCLUDING REST (REPRESENTATIONAL STATE TRANSFER), JSON (JAVASCRIPT OBJECT NOTATION), AND XML (EXTENSIBLE MARKUP LANGUAGE).
