Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Core Business Operations, Cloud Engineering in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities. Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Direct large technology engagements and participate in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

MASTERS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: LEADING PHASES OF PROJECT DELIVERY FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED APPLICATION SOLUTIONS USING AGILE AND WATERFALL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES; ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS USING VISIO AND MS PROJECT; INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET THEIR NEEDS; USING SCRUM, TEST DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT, XTREME PROGRAMMING, AND PAIR PROGRAMMING AGILE METHODOLOGIES TO DEVELOP WEB-BASED APPLICATION SOLUTIONS; USING AGILE METHODOLOGY TO PARTICIPATE IN AND LEAD THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS BY FOLLOWING ITERATIVE CYCLES TO BUILD, TEST AND DEPLOY WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS, GATHER IMMEDIATE FEEDBACK FROM END-USERS, AND INCORPORATE CHANGES; TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS; USING HP ALM AND SELENIUM TO SUPPORT AND PERFORM UAT, SIT, AND SYSTEM TESTING; SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS; AND CREATING REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENTS, DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS, PROCESS AND USER FLOWS, DATA MODELS, APPROVAL PROCESSES, WORKFLOW RULES, AND VALIDATION RULES BASED ON COMPLEX BUSINESS NEEDS USING VISIO, TABLEAU AND ADVANCED EXCEL.
