Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Manager, Cloud Engineering in Hermitage, Tennessee.
Work You’ll Do
Monitor availability and performance issues with cloud provider’s services. Manage the documentation and maintenance of cloud security controls, including system access and compliance needs. Manage the documentation and administration of the design of cloud resource Enterprise Systems Infrastructure to meet business requirements for reliability and business recovery. Oversee the integration of new solutions with existing cloud resources and evaluates impacts. Develop and share standards and best practices for the cloud environment. Establish key performance indicators for the overall health of the service and builds tools to evaluate if these key performance indicators are being met. Manage the team responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud computing technologies, infrastructure, and applications to meet the organizations requirements. Provide subject matter expertise on cloud capabilities and tools. Manage, mentor and train a team of Cloud Engineers. Utilize experience with cloud solution architecture such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and API management platforms/API standards such as Mulesoft, Amazon API Gateway, or Azure APIM; Experience with building and working with GIT and DevOps automation such as CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions; Experience writing API specifications such as OpenAPI and Swagger, and architectural specifications such as C4 and ADR; Experience in writing software in programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or similar; Experience with designing, building, and deploying cloud-based solution architectures; Experience with cloud native serverless technologies such as AWS Step functions, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or GCP Cloud Functions; Experience with IT infrastructure automation such as Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM Template; Experience with directing product-engineering standards and quality controls; Experience with mentoring engineering team members.

Requirements
Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Telecommunications and Network Engineering, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Telecommunications and Network Engineering, or related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Experience must have included four (4) years of experience with a Master’s degree or six (6) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree with the following:
- Experience with cloud solution architecture such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and API management platforms/API standards such as Mulesoft, Amazon API Gateway, or Azure APIM.
- Experience with building and working with GIT and DevOps automation such as CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
