Position Summary

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Manager, Cloud Architecture in Princeton, New Jersey.

Work You’ll Do

Participate in the design of technical programs and applications to enable efficient cloud deployment. Interact with the technical staff at the Service Provider to ensure a tight integration of cloud with existing application deployments. Evaluate the security aspects of cloud computing relative to stored data and for contingency planning. Serve as a technical resource to other less experienced professional individual contributors in the cloud computing group. Provide support to the Cloud Computing group by conceptualizing the overall cloud computing configuration for the enterprise.

Requirements 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering (any) or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a System Analyst; Technical Analyst-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following special skills:

  1. Performing system design, coding, unit testing, enhancing and supporting applications and technology solutions.
  2. Creating Database Objects such as Tables, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers and writing complex queries.
  3. Utilizing Azure, AWS, SQL Server, or SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  4. Performing data warehouse architecture, extract/transform/load (ETL) and business requirements gathering and analysis.
  5. Leading development of scripts to automate routine and repetitive database SQL tasks.
  6. Working on agile projects, leading daily SCRUM calls and providing task updates.
  7. Determining level of effort estimations, monitoring task execution and meeting established project milestones.
  8. Reviewing plans associated with project execution, performing task prioritization, and resolving issues and escalations.

*Telecommuting/working from home allowed within commutable distance.

**Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
