Position Summary

Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager, Application Architecture in Hermitage, TN.

Work You’ll Do

Provide technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET cloud based web applications. Create project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with enterprise architecture principles, governance, standards, methodologies, and best practices. Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensure that architecture standards are followed. Apply research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations; provide expert knowledge of mobile application architecture to business and technology teams. Facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices. Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, deployment, and testing processes. Work with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, and strategies to anticipate future business and technology needs. Review and approve third party integration solution architecture. Communicate implications of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements to business and IT leadership. Define and validate technical requirements and establish traceability between requirements and application architecture and design. Develop project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables and work with Performance Engineering and Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining the deployment architecture and providing guidance on mobile application development.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Applied Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Three years of experience planning and executing technical solutions with architects for mobile and web applications.
  • Experience must include three years of:
    • Developing and testing for applications migrating from on-premise to cloud;
    • Providing delivery and technical guidance for performance issues and production cost optimization efforts;
    • Utilizing Microsoft .NET Full Stack development C#, Python, VB.NET, T-SQL, and Test driven development;
    • Utilizing Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, JQuery, and JavaScript;
    • Utilizing applications, including WinForms, MVC Web apps, REST API, and Single Page applications;
    • Utilizing Microsoft Azure with Docker containers, including Iaas, Paas, and Saas;
    • Utilizing AppFabric, Redis, and Gemfire caching;
    • Utilizing Sitecore CMS and Sharepoint development;
    • Utilizing Azure Devops, SonarQube, AppFortify, GIT, and TFS; and
    • Performing project management using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
