Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager, Application Administration in McLean, VA.

Work You’ll Do

Provide technical and architectural leadership for SAP R/3 and SuccessFactors platform. Create project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices. Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensure that architecture standards are followed. Conduct research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations. Provide expert knowledge of Enterprise platform (SAP/SuccessFactors) architecture to business and technology teams. Facilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices. Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes. Review and approve third party integration solution architecture. Communicate implications of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements to business and IT leadership. Define and validate technical requirements and establish traceability between requirements and application architecture and design. Manage environments, develop project technical initiation documents, including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, and work with Performance Engineering and SAP Infrastructure teams on defining the deployment architecture. Assist with project management duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Five years of experience designing SAP R3 or SAP SuccessFactors platform.
  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Master's degree and three years of experience as stated above.
  • Experience must include one year of:
    • Coordinating and aligning environment strategies and designing integration architecture with applications built across various platforms, including .NET, Azure, and Informatica, using integration technologies, including Middleware, API, direct connections, and files;
    • Creating and documenting system architecture specifications, including case models and domain driven entities;
    • Creating project and application architecture deliverables complying with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices;
    • Facilitating API and CPI middleware integrations usage and alignment across SAP SuccessFactors program;
    • Implementing best practices and technical enhancements within SAP cloud solution and documenting defect triage and resolution;
    • Architecting enterprise solutions, coordinating environment management across on-premises and cloud solutions, and configuring system components across platforms and enterprise solutions;
    • Designing database schema for custom tables within SuccessFactors; and
    • Spearheading development teams during analysis, design reviews, development, code reviews, testing, and performance engineering processes.
  • Position requires approximately 20% domestic travel.
