Position Summary

Lead, Talent Strategy & Advisory Services

The Team:
The HR Strategy and Transformation (HRST) organization aspires to reimagine how Talent fuels our Deloitte businesses through innovative, customer-centric, digitally enabled talent services.

As part of HRST, the Talent Strategy & Advisory Services team (TSAS) serves as strategic advisors for Talent by providing insights that enable leaders to define and act on talent initiatives and remain agile and proactive to Deloitte’s emerging needs.

Our Mission is to serve as an integrated and agile strategy team that incubates ideas, provides solutions to complex problems, and drives alignment across the Talent Channel to meet current and future Talent priorities. We “work the white space” to create clarity, define the ‘art of the possible’, and help strategic initiatives take flight. In practice, this means we:

  • Identify and diagnose complex problems and goals across Talent
  • Gather and assess data to understand gaps and opportunities
  • Incubate ideas and define strategic, holistic solutions
  • Scope and design strategy, requirements, and roadmaps

Work You’ll Do:
This role will work closely with Talent leaders across all channels to define and launch strategic plans for critical and time-sensitive talent priorities and support evolving transformation strategies across Talent investments. This professional will assist with:

  • Understanding and analyzing Talent challenges and opportunities
  • Driving incubation and launch of new solutions in support of Talent Channel priorities
  • Conducting deep-dive assessments and deliver recommendations and roadmaps
  • Engaging leaders and key stakeholders across Talent and the businesses to understand Talent priorities, emerging demands and drivers of value
  • Driving two-way flow of information between Domain and HRST work in progress
  • Identifying how specific objectives, impacts and outcomes will affect (or will be affected by) other inflight initiatives
  • Supporting development and execution of talent strategies and priorities to achieve Talent transformation and firm objectives and aspirations.
  • Collaborating with other leaders and team across Talent and the businesses to understand Talent priorities and drivers of business value.
  • Maintaining awareness to Talent transformation activities and support activities and strategies to achieve the overall objectives.
  • Market sensing activities of current business trends and leading practices to anticipate impacts on our workforce and Talent programs.
  • Developing compelling, logically-structured presentations and deliverables that will be shared at the Talent and business leadership level.
  • Supporting strategic integration activities for major transformation initiatives involving the US member firm, including driving adoption and business engagement, and providing input to strategic communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related area
  • 7 years of experience in Strategy or Human Resources
  • Previous internal/external consulting experience recommended
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, particularly in managing multiple project priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Skills:

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Ability to manage change and ambiguity
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication to convey complex topics concisely

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78570 to $161330

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a ‘job’ with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.

We would like to clarify that:

  • At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.

  • We consider candidates on merit and that we provide an equal opportunity to eligible applicants.
  • No one other than designated Deloitte personnel (e.g., a Deloitte recruiter or Deloitte hiring partner) is permitted to extend any job offer from Deloitte.

Anyone who at any time has made or makes any payment to any party in exchange for promises of job or selection for a job with Deloitte or any matter related to this (including those for ‘registration’, ‘verification’ or ‘security deposit’) or otherwise engages with any such person who has made or makes fraudulent promises or offers, does so (or has done so) entirely at their own risk. Deloitte takes no responsibility or liability for any such unauthorized or fraudulent actions or engagements. We encourage jobseekers to exercise caution.
