Work you’ll do
- Ensure C2P Program products conform to technical policy, guidance, standards, processes, and requirements established by the NAVWAR Office of the Chief Engineer.
- Provide leadership with technology roadmaps, along with technical advice, risks and solutions in executing Product Procurement, System Engineering, Hardware/Software Development, Test and Evaluation activities for C2P system.
- Provide oversight and champion C2P system from cradle to grave by working with stakeholders to understand requirements, guide the team to focus on mission essentials, requirement management, scope control, configuration change control, resource management, testing, IA certification, Combat System Certification, cost, schedule, sustainment strategy, and working across the larger C2P team to deliver quality end products.
- Maintain coordination with external stakeholders such as, PEO IWS, BMD, NAVSEA, C4I, COMOPTEVFOR, shore sites, FMS, SCN, Aegis Ashore, through providing plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) providing development status, technical issue adjudication, testing status, IA Status, SCD status, Combat System integration and testing, Navy Link Cert, JITC, IDCT events, Combat system Cert, Hardware status, Fielding Plan and configurations.
- Monitor Configuration Management of 200 platforms spanning most of the Navy’s fleet (CVN, LHA, LHD, CG, DDG, LPD, LCS, AEGIS ASHORE, USCG OPC, NSC, FMS and shore sites) including “as built” configuration to tracking numerous field changes.
- Research, and implement new technology within the C2P Program. Provide oversight for the development of the C2P Modernization (40+ team members) replacing the current obsolete C2P hardware architecture and legacy CMS2Y based software with
- Provide programmatic, systems engineering, and technical services support in the oversight of the acquisition of platform C2P requirements.
- Perform customer requirements analysis, requirements definition, and requirements management for C2P Stakeholders.
- Support the coordination and alignment of platform integration efforts with customers and stakeholders in an effort to implement and improve Command and Control Processor capabilities.
- Coordinate Stakeholder Site Upgrades, working closely with MDA, PMWs, CB-ISEA, and SSA. Communicate site installation requirements to CB-ISEA, and SSA, as required.
- Coordinate requirements with C2P Production Manager, communicating changes in Required Delivery Date (RDD) and stakeholder needs as required. Maintain awareness of production schedule, attend Production IPT and provide inputs to stakeholders regarding production schedule changes or information.
- Support Stakeholder Production Reviews and Program Management Reviews, develop and present required C2P material to stakeholders
- Coordinate logistics support for the development and upload of C2P ILS Date Sheets for upload for the C2P Configuration to be installed
- Establish, review and maintain a master schedule for integrating C2PS for SOVTs for Platforms.
- Provide subject matter expertise in support of procurement and installation of C2PS, installation material, services, and support required for Stakeholders
- Coordinate schedule, funding, installation, and testing of C2P and future baselines including C2P Mod
- Develop and review Annual Spend Plan requirements for PMO, Engineering and Installation requirements for Stakeholders
- Work with the Assistant Program Manager (APM) – Logistics (APM-L) for logistics requirements for all sites
- Develop general knowledge in C2P HW, SW, architecture, interfaces and operations with other shipboard systems.
- Develop general knowledge of Link 16, JREAP A/C, and STJ and Link 22.

Qualifications
Required:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline.
- At least ten (10) years of systems engineering experience supporting a NAVWAR program office.
- Strong experience leading cross functional teams
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Master of Science degree from an accredited university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline.
