Lead Specialist, Audio/Video Engineering (National)
Job Description
The Lead Specialist, Audio/Video Engineering will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end audiovisual technology client experience within a practice office. This includes but not limited consulting with executive level program leaders, real estate project team members and leads, ITS peers and external resources to develop audio/visual collaboration solutions. This individual will manage AV deployments in all spaces, developing and managing technology roadmaps as well as providing tactical delivery and strategic technological direction. This includes but is not limited to process development, standards development, technology implementation, operational standards and maintain solution portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background and project management skills to address a portfolio of client deliverables and innovative solutions; strong facilitation/presentation skills with an executive presence; an intellectual curiosity coupled with a passion for applying innovative technologies to create proven solutions.
Work You’ll Do
- Designs/develops audio visual & technology solutions for new practice office buildouts and refreshes.
- Recommends audio visual enhancements & refreshes for practice offices as appropriate.
- Reviews, recommends, and implements collaboration tools for specific use case requirements.
- Manages the day-to-day projects within department.
- Ensures projects are managed within standards and budgeted guidelines.
- Coordinates vendor activities and technology enhancements with facility management.
- Develop maintenance plans and ensure coordination with procurement.
- Works with outside vendors to acquire any additional technology equipment needed and arranges for freelance technicians or services.
- Coordinates the set-up, testing, and repair of Audio-Visual equipment. Troubleshoots audio visual problems and escalates as required.
- Reviews operation of equipment with client and ensures appropriate training in operation and use.
- Liaises with Information Technology staff to communicate information and resolve audio visual issues.
- Ensures compliance of Audio-Visual equipment to cyber security standards.
- Supervise vendors and technology implementations within practice office buildouts.
- Ensures process excellence and compliance with standards.
- Develops, manages, and maintains audio visual technology standards.
- Takes ownership of Audio-Visual issues, engages appropriate Technology, Operations, and vendor resources, and drives towards resolution.
- Communicates project delays/issues to Technology and/or Operations leadership early and often.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (in lieu of a 4-year degree, 8+ years of related Audio/Video technology support may be substituted)
- 2+ years in field AV installations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Master's Degree (combined with equivalent of 6+ years of related Audio/Video technology support experience)
- 2+ years of experience maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key resource for internal clients with cross-functional teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines/priorities.
- Serve as a key resource across departments and teams.
