Position Summary

Lead Software Engineer AI/ML Platforms 

The team 

This is a hands-on position where you will be empowered to be creative, ambitious, and bold; to solve novel problems and have the potential to directly impact the lives of people around the world. We have impressive toolkits and clients with world class data, and we are now looking for talented people to join our team. 

Work you’ll do 

You will be responsible for serving as a technical lead developing of our AI development Platform. Our AI and Technology teams are building AI-enabled solutions across our offering areas in Cyber Security, Fraud Detection, Digital Controls, Predictive Maintenance and Risk Management. These applications cross AI and analytics problems in NLP, imaging, anomaly detection, and deep automation. As we continue to develop products and solutions, we need a strong foundational architecture that allows to build sophisticated AI models leveraging state of the art software and compute capabilities with well annotated data.  

  • Be a technical expert with expertise maintaining and deploying applications running in Kubernetes. 
  • Serve as a technical lead for a team of engineers in their day to day development across a tech stack ranging from Terraform for infrastructure as code for multiple clouds, Kubernetes manifests and helm charts for various applications, and provide operational support.
  • Build a state of the art GitOps deployment pattern to enable seamless continuous delivery of applications across multiple instances across multiple clouds.
  • Install and deploy Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers and on premise. 
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • 2+ years developing and architecting enterprise class solutions in the cloud
  • 3+ years experience in at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Should be very analytical and detail oriented, self-sufficient and a team player
  • Experiences in developing cloud-based solutions using micro-services architecture, docker containers and Kubernetes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent skills using Git for source control
  • Familiarity with AI/ML development processes
  • Solid Python background
  • Limited Visa Sponsorship may be available

 

Preferred 

  • Experience with Kubeflow is a major plus
  • Experience with Helm and Kustomize is a major plus
  • Experience with Spark is a plus
  • Experience building large deep learning models and optimizing distributed training jobs with Pytorch
  • Experience with Data warehousing tools like Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, etc is a major plus.
  • Experience with High-Performance Computing
  • Experience with REST, SOAP Services, XML, JSON
