We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our Lead Specialist role between May 2023-November 2023 for our People Analytics team.
Rotation Assignment: Lead People Analytics (CL4/Consultant/Senior Consultant)
This Human Resources Strategy and Transformation rotation is a 6-month assignment (with a defined end date), designed to give a Deloitte professional a unique experience and development opportunity. The professional filling this assignment must receive approval from their PPMD leader prior to interviewing, will remain in their current talent model throughout the assignment, and must return to their enabling area or client service role, or fill an open position, at the end of the rotation period.
The Team
The People Analytics & Reporting (PAR) Team collaborates across Talent and the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change inside of Deloitte. Our teams (e.g., reporting, data science, surveys, candidate assessments, evaluation, data governance, data integrations) provide a holistic and client-centric approach that complements our wide range of analytical tools and methods to identify valuable workforce insights which, in turn, fuels the business.
This role reports to and closely collaborates with the People Analytics Manager who engages directly with our Talent Acquisition leaders and their support teams, to enable data driven insights and analysis.
Work you’ll do
- Develop and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to leaders in the organization, including providing ad-hoc reporting / analytics support
- Design and build dashboards / visualizations to tell a compelling and easy to understand data story, across delivery methods (e.g., PPT, Tableau, One Model)
- Serve as an advisor to other PAR teams, communicating the needs of our Talent organization to ensure our broader services/projects are aligned and prioritized with leaderships’ key priorities
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge and expertise of all PAR services (e.g., surveys, reports, dashboards, analytics, governance)
- Understand new technologies and train others on the use of technology platforms
- Work in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment with minimal oversight
- Manage multiple project priorities simultaneously
- Foster relationships and build trust with key stakeholders (e.g., chief of staffs, executives) to facilitate data-driven decision making
- Perform quality reviews of reporting technologists’ deliverables to meet business needs
- Ensure that PAR services are delivered in a coordinated and timely fashion
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, reporting, analytics, visualization
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)
- Visualization and storyboarding skills
- Tableau or other dashboarding tool experience critical
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Ability to balance detail (e.g., tracking nuanced client needs) with thinking holistically about underlying goals/needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad set of clients
- Strong written and oral communication skills
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300 to $173300.
