Deloitte is looking for Full Stack Developers to support our federal client’s mission to accelerate discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence to counter national security threat actors by adopting and applying advanced exploitation methods, emerging technologies, and sound tradecraft. The appropriate candidate is required to have strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems. The candidate will provide technical expertise and support in the design, development, implementation and testing of customer tools and applications. Based in Development-Security-Operations framework, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

What you will be doing:

  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Displays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Participate in the development of new and maintenance of customer’s custom applications
  • Provide top-level technical services to include, but are not limited to, agile development, system engineering, and software development
  • Actively contribute to mission capabilities development and deployment to address emerging requirements
  • Perform in all three areas of development, integration and production deployment
  • Conduct technical research on software development tasks including automation prototyping and tool development

Description

  • Lead development teams to provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile
  • Design, develop and modify software systems and custom components using modern dev stack
  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers
  • Analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems
  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components
  • Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements
  • Plan, track, manage deliverables on short term sprints, and long-term software deployments

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must have active Top Secret government Security Clearance or Higher
  • 7 years of professional development experience.
  • 1+ years of leading teams
  • 5+ years of experience with front and/or back-end development
  • 3+ years of JavaScript experience
  • 2+ years of experience with at least one server-side language (Python, Java, Node.js, PHP or Ruby)
  • 2+ years of experience with modern Javascript languages (Angular or React)
  • 2+ years of experience with agile software development

 

Preferred: 

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other STEM
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Familiarity with Agile project management principles
  • Confidence to drive assignments to completion
  • Eagerness to learn and develop
