Work you’ll do
- Serve as a land and project developer to government clients on large scale energy projects
- Manage various aspects of energy project development including real estate, permitting, technology, financial, and acquisition issues and options
- Support and lead identifying, analyzing, and developing energy project structures, including the real estate instrument selection (e.g., lease, title, easements, etc.) and acquisition strategies
- Analyze a variety of acquisition methods including existing and new policies and statutory authorities to make a recommendation on the optimal acquisition approach.
- Collaborate with industry experts to understand the energy resilience benefits that these technologies can provide and identify ways to expedite the acquisition of these solutions where relevant.
- Analyze existing project acquisition processes and authorities to identify improvements and evaluate new project acquisition processes and authorities for potential application including performing analytic modeling to validate benefits and constraints.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Secret security clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 5-25% depending on the clients you support
- 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in land development, energy, or related projects
- 5+ years working with federal government clients
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and work with diverse team
- Experience developing and coordinating project deal structure analysis, including real estate out grant instrument selection (easement, title, license, lease) and competitive nature (sole source and justification & approval or RFI/sources sought or RFP).
- Strong analytical skills to assess viability of potential renewable and alternatives
