Position Summary

The Internal Audit organization is responsible for identifying opportunities and developing recommendations to improve entity-wide controls and operating efficiencies for the firm.

Work you’ll do

During the summer internship, you’ll gain real-world experience and first-hand knowledge while working on meaningful projects. As an Internal Audit intern, you will have the opportunity to communicate and work with various groups across the Firm by completing certain job responsibilities that include:

  • Identify and analyze risks
  • Perform audit work as assigned
  • Identify processes that could be improved
  • Evaluate existing risk management controls
  • Network with other interns and full-time staff
  • Support audit staff and management as needed
  • Understand and document business processes, risks, and controls
  • Assist with evaluating and documenting complex business, technology, and fraud risks
  • Contribute to positive working relationships with internal clients and team, including international team members
 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Candidate for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related Business field
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet researching tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must clearly understand how to handle confidential information
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • The start date for this position will be in 2022
 

Preferred:

  • Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred)
  • Experience in accounting, information systems, or auditing
