Industrial Products & Construction Workforce Strategies Senior Manager – Multiple Locations

Work you’ll do

As a Workforce Strategies Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Working closely with a team to deliver results for your client
  • Lead and manage teams or workstreams to contribute to the overall project success
  • Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate
  • Managing all aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues early to be able to mitigate any risk for your client
  • Build your reputation within the firm and in the market for the strong Workforce Strategies knowledge you possess
  • Enjoying the opportunity to forge strong relationships with both the client and project team that will contribute to your growth and development

The Workforce Transformation team

As a Workforce Strategies Senior Manager within the Workforce Transformation practice, you will focus on increasing the business impact of new technologies, platforms, processes, and systems. By leveraging these tools to the fullest, we optimize the capabilities in Workforce Strategies, Talent Acquisition, and Analytics needed to deliver for the future, enabling our solutions to remain fresh in the context of today’s ever-evolving business demands.

The Industrial Products & Construction sector is undergoing rapid advances in supply chain management, advanced analytics capabilities, Smart Buildings, and Industry 4.0 innovation. While currently serving the vast majority of Industrial Products and Construction Fortune 500 companies, we work towards aggressive revenue growth goals over the next 3-5 years. We are committed to helping our clients work with newly empowered customers, hyper-connected digital ecosystems, and expansion in data in collaboration with Deloitte’s Offering Portfolios

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years workforce functions and processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Workforce Strategy and Solutions, Workforce Capabilities, Talent Acquisition, and/or Workforce and Talent Analytics
  • 4+ years of Industrial Products & Construction experience
  • 3+ years experience leading workforce strategy projects and teams
  • 3+ years experience supporting clients
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • 8+ years external consulting experience
  • 3+ years experience managing staff and leading small to medium sized teams
  • 4+ years experience with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments
  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and manage client relationships and develop business
  • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
